Choosing a menu template

Start from how your menu is read, not from colours. A café with twelve drinks in three sizes wants space and a clear price column, which is why Marina and Botanica leave so much of the page empty. A Lebanese grill with thirty mezze needs structure, so Beirut sets dishes two across in cards. A tasting menu is read top to bottom, so Ivory centres the price under each course instead of lining them up for comparison. Colours, fonts and spacing can all be changed afterwards; the layout is the decision that matters.
